Zoo Neunkirchen

I fancied a trip to the zoo today so I got my flask ready ( unpacked it anyway ) and headed over to Zoo Neunkirchen . All the signs are written in German ( which I don't understand ) but that doesn't matter as the animals are easily recognizable. There is a wide variety with plenty of babies to coo at.
I turned off streaming music and turned sounds up in preference so I could hear any animal noises.
There are a few huts from which you can get a birds eye view and plenty of benches to rest on, eat your sarnies and watch your favourite animal. Also if you look closely there is an under water tunnel , you know like in Jaws 3 but not as big ( its under the croc pool ).
The textures and build of the zoo have been very well done. I was impressed with the quality of the animals and the layout. Zoo Neunkirchen is well worth a visit.

New Trails

I only had time for a quick wander today and went to New Trails. Its a bright, colourful sim displaying Dali style art. As well as the current art exhibition on show there is a sculpture garden to walk round.
New Trails also has a shop which sells art and sculptures plus some weird and wonderful avatars I couldn't even attempt to describe

Drowsy

My travels today took me to Drowsy. My first impression of Drowsy was that its a quaint place with a shop lined cobbled street, if a little eerie due to it being deserted. I grabbed myself a massive ice cream and off I went. Soon through my own greed ( I picked up an apple ), found myself trapped in a run down zoo. I wonder what the trap had been laid down catch though ?

It wasn't long before I found a playground. I creeped myself out abit here. As the place being completely deserted who else were on the swings besides me? Also the pack of wolves I'd just noticed seemed to have their eyes on me. Watch out for the tree stump in the corner ( maybe this was where all the children had disappeared to)
After sneaking away from the wolves in the playground and narrowly missing another in the forest, I came upon a library. I entered hoping to find some sign of life. Instead the library was in a state of disarray. Leaving quickly incase whatever did this was still lurking about, found a small boat at the back of the library. Maybe someone had planned on escaping Drowsy but after looking in the near by pond and seeing a couple of skeletons, think they may have been too late. Then again there doesn't seem much chance of an escape out at sea either after spying this monster out there.
I had a great time exploring Drowsy and finding lots of hidden things. There are afew shops here which sell a variety of items from cute clothes and hair to a kitchen sink, literally. The build has an excellent quality to it. I especially loved the library building and want to live in it.

Isle Of A 1000 Corpses

As I watch alot of horror films in RL I looked in search for any horror film based sims. I typed in the names of the most famous horror films and although alot of items based on films can be bought I could not find a sim built based on one. What I did find though was Isle Of A 1000 Corpses which is a place dedicated to Rob Zombie. Being a fan of Rob Zombies music and films I tped straight over there.
I hadn't been there long before Otis had me *ahhh*. After escaping I paid the Rob Zombie museum a visit. In there are links to his websites plus loads of photos. If you don't know anything about him or want to know more there is a biography notecard you can pick up as well as a couple of t shirts and a flag.
There are areas in the sim relating to films such as the Bates Motel and house from Psycho, Audrey II from The Little Shop Of Horrors and a log cabin which is just waiting for Jason Voorhees to pay a visit. You can have a go at shooting zombies in the hunting ground or sit in a dump and watch a horror film. Isle Of A 1000 Corpses worth looking round if you are either a Rob Zombie or horror film fan.
